On the evening of Jun.,23, the 2nd AOS (The Art of Surgery) seminar, hepatobiliary surgery session was held online. This seminar was honored to invite Pro. Hua YunPeng from The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Prof. Qi ShiQin from Anhui Provincial Children's Hospital , Prof. Duan XiaoHui from Hunan Provincial People’s Hospital, Prof. Wang XiaoJun from The Affiliated Hospital of Medical School, Ningbo University and Prof. Zhao JianPing from Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College Hust to share and discuss clinical research experience in hepatobiliary surgery.
The seminar was presided over by Prof. Hua YunPeng. In the opening session, Prof. Hua YunPeng extended a warm welcome to the participants from all over China and introduced the theme of the seminar, and pointed out that, minimally invasive surgery is the current mainstream topic. The national level and medical insurance policy have put forward certain requirements for the rate of minimally invasive surgery and the proportion of minimally invasive surgery in hospitals. How to make patients benefit more from minimally invasive surgery is the common exploration direction of the majority of minimally invasive surgical instrument R&D manufacturers and medical staff.
Medical technology innovation and various minimally invasive surgical instruments jointly promote the continuous development and improvement of endoscopic minimally invasive surgical technology in China. This seminar has built a good exchange and sharing platform for surgeons, which is conducive to improving the minimally invasive technology of various hospitals, so as to better serve patients and benefit thousands of families.
In the section of keynote speech, Prof. Qi ShiQin and Prof. Duan XiaoHui respectively gave speeches on Single-port Laparoscopic Radical Resection of Choledochal Cyst In Children and Approaches And Strategies For Laparoscopic Hepatic Vein Exposure, in order to share their valuable clinical experience and surgical skills.
In the end, Prof. Wang XiaoJun,Pro. Zhao JianPing also delivered wonderful speeches to the today's topics in-depth discussion and exchange, the atmosphere was warm, and the seminar was a complete success.
